Week of April 25, 2016

Hello Giraffe Families!
  I hope everyone had a great weekend.  We finished up our study of the butterfly lifecycle last week.  We have butterfly larvae in our classroom that we have been observing.  We are excited to see when our butterflies will break out of their chrysalis.  I am looking forward to a great week of teaching and learning.

Grades 3-5 will be involved in State testing this week.  Our class schedule will be a little different due to testing in the mornings.

Hello Giraffe families!  I hope everyone enjoyed their Spring Break!  My family enjoyed spending time together!  I hope everyone is ready for a great week back to school.  Report cards will go home this week.  I am looking forward to watching the children bloom even more in kindergarten!  We will explore poetry this week.  While reading many different poems, we will look for rhyming pairs and patterns.  I  hope everyone has a wonderful week!
