Super Social Studies

Over the past couple of weeks our class has been integrating social studies into our reading curriculum. The students learned so much about communities.  Here's a look into our learning!

Our class learned about Me On the Map!  After reading and learning about all the places we are a part of, the children made their own Me on the Map books.  They worked together with their peers to complete their books!

 

 


Last week we read about the Three types of communities; Urban, Rural and Suburban.  The students demonstrated their understanding by illustrating and describing each community.
