Week of October 31, 2016

Hello Families!  This week Ms. Moser is excited to begin her two weeks of full time teaching. She has worked very hard to create lessons on government, elections and voting.  This will integrated into the reading curriculum.  The children are going to read Duck for President, Grace for President and My Teacher for President.  After reading the stories together, the class will participate in creating campaign posters for one of the candidates from our read alouds.  On Friday, November 4th, each second grader will have the opportunity to vote for one of our story characters.  The students will fill out a voter registration and get an I Voted sticker for their participation.
